About

I believe in people and I don’t believe in can’t.  When I die, I want people to be able to say that I taught those around me this axiom not through rhetoric, but through simply being who I am.

My name is Emeri or 白茉莉 (Bai Moli) depending on who I am talking to.  You can call me either if you’d like.  I’m a twenty something year old Boston University grad from Minneapolis, Minnesota (and a few places before that).  As of August 2008 I will be in Guangzhou, China (also known as Canton) to teach English for Aipusen English Training Institute.

I don’t pretend it all will be easy, but I know it will an experience to remember.  That’s why I’m here.  This blog charts my life through the third largest city in China so that I and all those important to me can remember when I saw the world and changed a bit of it.
